At Daniel Davies Photography we recognise that weddings usually involve spending large sums of money! As if this isn’t enough, they usually involve spending large sums of money on the kind of things that you have very little experience of. After all, how many of you have spent maybe £1000 on a dress before purchasing your wedding gown? How often have you had to select and prepare a meal for 150 or more people? It’s a little daunting! It was for this reason that we began to offer a complimentary pre-wedding shoot. This shoot takes place a few months before your wedding, and you chose a location that has some relevance to you, maybe a local park, or the area around where you were proposed to, or where you went on your first date – we’re really flexible and can come up with some great shots wherever you want to take us! Previous clients have told us how much more confident it has made them on their wedding day to have spent a few hours with us, meaning that they have got to know us a little better, seen the quality of our photography (many clients are surprised at just how good they can look on camera!). It means that, come your wedding day, your photographer feels a little more like a friend, and a little less like a scary stranger with big intimidating cameras slung around his neck. |

We also take your feedback from your pre-wedding shoot into consideration when it comes to the photographs we take on your wedding day. We don’t want to waste your time taking photographs that you’ll never look at again – you’ll have more than enough demands on your time without this! More recently we have been designing our clients some absolutely unique canvas montages of their pre-wedding shoots and these are now a complimentary gift to our couples as a thank you for making time to shoot with us. We want you to be as confident as you can be that your wedding photographer will deliver all the great quality images (and albums) that you expect.
