About Dan

Hi, I’m Michelle, Dan’s wife. Dan’s a little reluctant to blow his own trumpet, so he’s asked me to describe him for this page:

Dan Davies is a passionate and friendly professional photographer based in Enfield, North London. He is husband to a fantastic wife(!) who drives him along (in all the best senses of the word) and a great teenaged stepson. Dan also has two children of his own who he would love to spend more time with. Dan’s perfect day would be start with a long walk with Staffie "Reg" and "Valerie" his deaf Jack Chi, then an afternoon spent with his family at a Chelsea FC game before heading into the West End for the Theatre and a slap up dinner.

Dan’s photography is always based around getting to know his clients really well - so that he can precisely understand their needs and help them to feel relaxed in front of the camera. He considers that his technical skills behind a camera forms only part of his ability to capture engaging images.

Dan has always enjoyed creating photographs that really matter for his clients and gets a huge buzz working at weddings and other events where every moment is important – his favourite pictures are always the ones that portray real emotion in his subjects.
